The world is going to the end, not because of 2012 or Mayan prophecy. It is because more and more people are playing Runescape. Don’t laugh, it is a reality.

 

Take myself as an example. I am 36 years old. Fat and unemployed. I’ve been addicted to this game since 2003, almost for 10 years. I am still single, cause in real life no one would like a fat and unemployed man. Every day I spent at least 6 hours in this game. Of course, I have several “girl friend” in the game, but I think dating them in real life will just ruin the relationship. Last month I found a job in a Supermarket. And now I control gaming hour 2 hours per day to level up and sell runescape accounts as the maximum. And I think my life is better and more colorful than ever.

 

One of my friend, Jimmy.21 years old. Been in this game since a Freshman. He is also a weird guy, less talk in real life. Spent almost 16-20 hours per day in this game. Skipping from class seems like his major. Treating his family as trash. But one day his RS account is banned forever because of off-line equipment trade on Ebay. Yeah, that is good for him. At least, he changed into another person. He goes to church every week then. Cause he thought this is god’s will for saving him. He is a good boy now and just graduated.

 

There are endless examples of people who are just likes Jimmy and I.I still remember the data of hours which newspaper said that regular RS player spent on this game around 5-6 hours per day.

 

Yeah. It is indeed a good game. I think the difference between other games and this game is that in other games, you will be boring finally. But in RS, it seems that the happiness is endless. I think it is due to community function. RS is just another social media with a lot of fun .Cause in the game, we will make more friends, and finally we play with these friends. Psychologically this game became another community or social relationship circle. And it is much more funny that the real world. Because in real world, you have always think about your work, salary, family, relationship. But in the game, you can just enjoy the fun with your friends.

 

Although I used to spend too much time to buy and sell runescape accounts, but actually I have no hard feelings or hatred, I still like it. But now I knew better how to balance RS world and real world.

 

For RS friends, I hope you guy still enjoy the gaming time, but furthermore, know how to enjoy real life.
