There are three main races within the game of StarCraft, each having a variety of weapons, skills, and missions. Each of these races really contributes to the game because of their varied differences and skills. Another race is comprised of the Zerg race which are made of organic units and structures and are reproductive to a proficient degree. Finally, the Terrans are the most middle of the races and have a sort of cross between the other two. While the first is based on strength and the latter is based on numbers, the Terrans have a healthy balance of both and rely on both features to help them get through. The Terrans also use a lot of other kinds of weapons like tanks and nuclear powered devices.

Though all of them are different in their abilities and skills and features, no race is at any advantageous position over any of the other races and they are all fairly in balance with one another. Basically, as you play the game you will have to use a variety of units in order to construct various buildings and units and while you do this you are in charge of making sure to maintain and keep careful regulation of your forces and supplies carefully. Predominantly, all of this will be taking place in a science fiction world and takes place in a time period that follows an extreme overpopulation within the 21st century of Earth, causing people to be banished and new colonies and factions to begin uprisings.

As many of the factions want the main confederacy to crumble, a stigma and angst results and that is when you must assume the one of three various characters throughout the game. For the first round, you will be one of the confederate magistrates and you will have to lay down the law for a colony world that is being threatened. Next, you will be a cerebrate working for one of the enemy camp teams and you will most likely be performing things that contradict the laws you had set in place before. And thirdly, you will be an office who represents a Protoss government.

Many exciting features make this game an enjoyable and likable experience, as you will be able to have brightly colored visuals on your screen. New features include things like burrows and cloaks that can be added into the abilities arsenal for the characters. Also, there are now pre-rendered sprites and a variety of three dimensional and high quality images so that you can enjoy the game vividly and feel as though you are a part of it. Also, an isometric in game view allows you to see the game from a variety of perspectives and positions.
