Make your neighbors stay in cool bachelor pads or mansions or beach shacks or low-end cottages; you hold all the cards! The currency is called `simolean` and a set amount of money is given at the beginning of the game. And if you find that you don`t have enough money for all the various purchases, then take up some Simms jobs while the kids are at school.

To keep increasing your `simoleans`, you`ll anyhow have to take up a job or make friends with an already rich Simm. This is the step where the Simms3 interactive environment comes into play. You have the option of meeting your neighbors at their house instead of your own and you can actually make your entrance into the neighborhood. You can walk to your neighbors` homes and chat with them. You also get a chance to meet other neighbors in the locality. Your Simms can visit their neighbors, explore their surroundings, hang out with friends, meet up with someone at the park or bump into colleagues in the street.

The Simms 3 comes with ready made beaches, parks and gyms. Having gyms is an innovative touch since family members or neighbors may put on weight and going to the gym or dieting will help them lose weight. And if your Simm happens to be in the right place at the right time, there is no saying what can happen! This vibrantly interactive facility of the new Simms series is what gives it an edge over the previous ones.

There are no irritating loading times to stop you from painting the town red and you can simultaneously send one Simm to one place and the other to a different one. You can now take your revenge in seeing other Simms age unlike in the previous two series where only your character aged. Families grow when activated by the play option and a baby can also be born. You can get job promotions, bonuses and even romance can be in the offing. The freedom of the Simms 3 of being able to interact in an open, living neighborhood will provide you with enough amusement.
