Parents need to know that this second-to-last installment in the extremely popular Twilight series is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. But unlike the previous films, in which Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) agree to remain chaste, this one begins with their wedding -- and then goes straight into their honeymoon (the studio has already released a photo of the stars together on a bed). So for the first time, there will be a true love scene (or at least a scene of them in a feather-covered bed) and suggestive allusions to sex, albeit of the marital variety. And depending on where filmmakers decide to split the book's story, this movie could also include some very bloody scenes. You can also expect more werewolf drama and references to vampire violence. Nevertheless, the movie has received a PG-13 rating.

It was supposed to debut at the MTV Movie Awards. Someone, however, decided that wasn't quite soon enough for all the Twihards out there. The first trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1" leaked late Sunday afternoon, hours ahead of its scheduled MTV bow. The long awaited opening tease for the half of the final chapter of Stephenie Meyers' famed vampire books, this trailer focuses on the marriage -- and finally, quite graphic intercourse -- between Edward and Bella (which was worth the wait, from the brief glimpse). Which, as expected, pleases some more than others (here's looking at you, Jacob).

The next instalment in the hugely successful tween-vamp saga is part one of a ‘Harry Potter’-style two-movie adaptation of the fourth book in the series, ‘Breaking Dawn’. The first three films in the series have been characterised by bloodlessness, emotional restraint and a prudish approach to teenage sexuality, but this one promises to buck that trend: Stephenie Meyer’s original novel was criticised for its ‘adult’ approach to difficult themes – though parents, don’t panic, there’s still no extramarital sex. Our two heroes – whey-faced high schooler Bella Swann (Kristen Stewart) and brooding vampiric cheekbone-owner Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), having tied the knot, embark on a passionate honeymoon to a remote Brazilian island, only to discover that Bella is pregnant with an unnaturally fast-growing, half-vampire demon spawn.

Meanwhile, washboard werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) is back in rainy Washington State, pining like a sick puppy for the absent Bella and shocked by his pals’ decision to find and destroy the child before it can be born. Directed by Bill ‘Dreamgirls’ Condon and reuniting all the regulars from the series, ‘Breaking Dawn’ promises to be a more energising entry in this endlessly popular franchise.
