Whatever this season may bring,Watching Dancing With The Stars Is Even Better In HD Articles I was tired of the dancing, judges, and contestants. Chloris Leachman frustrated me to such a degree I even stopped watching. Melissa Rycroft, The Woz, Julianne's boyfriend, Chuck Wicks, Denise Richards, Shawn Johnson, and a few others came along too that really didn't interest me either.

Despite that dreadful lineup, there was an individual that did make it all worthwhile. I could not wait to watch Gilles Marini expertly dance during each episode. Marini was on my radar after watching the Sex and the City movie where he played Dante. Just like in Sex and the City, he proved to be the best entertainment on Dancing with the Stars. He turns the heat up in the ballroom when he dances. Carrie Ann Inaba even mentioned how lucky his wife was.

Denise Richards was a big disappointment, lacking talent as well as personality. The Woz might have been the person I would like to hang out with the most, but he wasn't cut out to be a dancer. Chuck Wicks gave it his all, and lasted longer than most. I didn't really like Lil' Kim until I saw her dance so amazingly well. Derek Huff showed what expert choreography and showmanship can bring to the dance floor with his amazing routines. They were a team that showed talent as well as chemistry. How stunning was it then that Lil' Kim was voted off ahead of several less talented dance partners.

As it stands right now the last couples in competition are Melissa and Tony, Ty and Chelsie, Gilles and Cheryl, Shawn and Mark. With nearly no preparation Melissa replaced an injured Jewel just before shooting began this season. You could tell right off the bat that she has been trained in ballet dancing so it wasn't too hard for her to get up to speed quickly. Her performances have been close to perfection, earning her perfect scores in the last show. Perfect scores do not protect you from being voted off, however. (Just ask Sabrina Bryan, who was eliminated early in another season after receiving a perfect score.) The celeb dancer who has shown real progress is World Champion rodeo cowboy Ty Murry. Ty's experience riding bulls and guiding horses doesn't translate directly to the dance floor and provided a big cache of voting fans who normally wouldn't watch Dancing with the Stars. Just like in Beijing, Olympic Gold Medal winner Shawn Johnson has showed us some outstanding steps with the precision we would expect from the diminutive gymnast. Then there's Gilles who has never danced a dance I didn't enjoy.

Who will bring home the trophy? Another celebrity contestant and their partner gets sent off on the next show. Then the final three will have a showdown the next. I will certainly be watching.

Watching Dancing with the Stars is even better when you watch it on a high definition TV. After several friends kept harping on how much of a difference it made I finally gave in and purchased a hi-def television, and boy am I happy I did! Wow! You may be thinking what I used to think - how can it make that much of a difference in picture and sound quality? Well, I'm here to tell you it really does. If you get an HD high definition TV you'll need to contact your local cable provider to get the most out of it. I called Comcast Cable, my cable service supplier, and add HD channels to my already great channel lineup. And the HDTV picture form Comcast is amazing. By taking advantage of a bundle special for my area I was able to add Comcast High Speed Internet and Comcast Digital Voice. My new broadband Internet service is lightning fast and has opened up a whole new world of multimedia that I didn't know existed before Comcast High Speed Online. Plus, the clear digital phone service sounds amazing and flat-rate pricing means I can call all my friends and family nationwide without paying long distance charges. If Comcast is your local cable provider or you're planning on moving to an area covered by Comcast, I definitely recommend calling them up and ordering their great services.
