Why should you play Diablo 3? Read on.

Gaming is a hobby practiced by many people around the world,Why I Love Diablo 3 Articles and because of this fact, there are literally thousands of games available. Blizzard is one of the big boys when it comes to games, and today I will be talking to you about their newest release Diablo 3.

Anyone who plays even moderately will know about the Diablo series. It is highly unlikely to not have. Diablo has been a foothold in action-Role Playing Games and has inspired a lot similar games known as Diablo Clones (see Torchlight). But what makes Diablo 3 unique? Easy, the fighting and the loot. Diablo 3 is a game where you launch the game and quickly get into the fighting,  slaughtering enemies and finding new loot.

Let's start by talking about the graphics shall we. Diablo games are not renowned for their graphics, but for their monster-killing combat. With that being mentioned, Diablo 3 does have pretty decent graphics but they quickly lose their appeal as soon as you go into third person view. The spell visuals are great and are varied a lot between classes, and there are a lot of different mobs.

Game-play is where the game really steps forward. Diablo 3 has some of the best gameplay around, in any game period. Diablo is great fun when you get in a game with three other friends and just start  slaughtering monsters like there is no end to them (which there isn't). Champion monsters and Uniques can be great action too, as some variations of them are more powerful than the actual end bosses. This is because Champion monsters and Unique monsters are special demons that have abilities named "affixes". These affixes grant demons special abilities like electricity damage, bonus life, freezing explosions, and many other things. Enemies start out with 1 power and go up to a maximum of five in Inferno game-mode.

Treasure Goblins are a massive addition to Diablo 3. The best way to refer to these creatures is “moving treasure chest” or “Piñata”. The reason they are called that is that Treasure Goblins spawn randomly in dungeons and pose no threat to the party, but the player can make the decision to kill them for a massive reward. As soon as they are damaged, the Treasure Goblins will start running all over the map, dropping things along the way. If you kill them they leave behind a whole lot of quality loot. The downside is that if they are not killed in time, the Treasure Goblin will spawn a portal and escape.

The official description given by Blizzard for the Treasure Goblin is:
“He'll randomly and rarely appear in dungeons, but when he does you'll want to beat the candy out of him as he'll drop progressively better loot with each hit. Don't let him escape!”.

If you happen to be the type of gamer that plays computer games for their PvP (Player versus Player) aspect, you might want to stall a bit before purchasing Diablo 3 as Player versus Player is not included yet (as of writing this article). It should be released soon however.

Sound is great in this game. The dialog is very professional and is done by renowned voice actors such as Michael Gough and Paul Eiding. All text in the game is fully voiced, even small dialog such as background chatter.

All in all I recommend Diablo 3 to pretty much anyone who has ever loved gaming. It has everything you want and more, and you can double your experience simply by starting a session with friends
