• One should speak to the doctor before starting the exercises. This will help a woman in knowing her own body and will stop her from something which will cause discomfort and pain. • Many women are breathless and their heartbeats are increased with the idea of exercising. However, this should not be the case. If a woman is facing trouble while breathing, risk will be posed to the baby and it might get deprived of enough oxygen.

• It is not necessary that the exercises must be carried out for a particular amount of time. However, it must be ensured that plenty of breaks are taken in between.  When the weather is very hot, the exercises should be reduced or stopped completely.

• Women must avoid contact sports as there is no contact with the stomach. It can affect the balance as well and this may result into pregnancy.

Thus, a woman must follow proper exercise during first trimester of pregnancy.
