Winter is just around the corner and with winter comes those cold chilly nights. Trying to go to sleep can be pretty tough when you can't feel your toes. Raising the temperature on the thermal is out of the question. It will simply cost you a bundle of cash. Lucky for us there are several ways that you can keep warm at night without running up your gas or electric bill and they are the following:

Plastic On Windows. Putting plastic on windows may sound tacky but it is an excellent way to save some extra cash this winter. If you can't stand looking at the plastic,How to Keep Warm During the Cold Winter Nights Articles cover your windows with some beautiful and stylish heavy drapes and you will forget about the plastic on the windows.

Keep Windows Close. With or without plastic, keeping windows shut is a great way to keep the cold air out.

Opened Blinds and Curtains. Letting some sun shine its way into your home can actually help get some needed warmth throughout the day. Open the blinds and curtains during the day and feel the difference it can make at night. A little sunshine in your life is a good thing.

Wear Socks to Sleep. Sleeping with socks can give an extra boost of warmth and it can actually help with the circulation. I personally prefer wool socks because they are warmer, prevent blisters, foot odor and some even look adorable.

Exercise. Getting your heart pumping gets your blood flowing and temperature rising. As an added bonus, you will look and feel great too.

Proper Bedding. No need to bundle up on loads of sheets and blankets. A high quality down comforter and duvet cover will help get you sleeping like a baby in no time.

Hot Tea. A hot cup of tea will help keep you warm plus it is very relaxing and soothing.

Cuddling. Cuddling by the one that you love doesn't take much work plus it is absolutely free and very rewarding.
