Water, Water Everywhere, and Not a Drop to Drink

If you were to look at your glass of water right now, you might see clean crystal clear water. You might not even notice  the pollution within. Many people wonder about the condition of their water, and whether they should be drinking it.

Currently, the water in Central Texas is a growing concern. More and more people are moving into Texas each year, putting increased stress on the water supply. There are six currently water reservoirs in Texas where water is used to service the population. The population of Texas is at risk due to the very nature of their water supply. Currently, 1.6 million people are serviced by these reservoirs, and the growing pollution in Texas threatens each of the reservoirs.
The texture of the water in Texas varies. In some locations of Texas, specifically Cedar Park, Texas, the water is considered to be very hard. Those residing in Austin will find that their water supply will be soft to the taste. The taste of the water depends on which county and town of Texas one lives in, but it can vary in individual areas also.
Although the Texas Water committee is working actively to get this problem under control, residents who reside in this area of Texas may want to pertain caution to drinking the water. When comparing the water to other locations, it was found that the Texas water quality was not as highly regulated as some states. Columbus, Ohio, for example, has a very tough regulated water supply.
As an alternative to drinking water that you think may be pollutedFree Reprint Articles, consider buying bottled water; this will help you guard against any trouble with mainstream water filters.
