Looking for something special to make that 50th anniversary party unique and send your guests home with a favor they’ll love to keep as a remembrance of a great party and a great couple? Consider these 50th anniversary party favors!

1)     Get some plain,50th Anniversary Favors that Grab Your Guests' Attention Articles clear tall & slim candle holders or glasses. Using white paint, carefully stamp or stencil a decorative 50 on each side of the glass. You can add whatever embellishments you want, a decorative border at the top, the name of the wonderful couple along the bottom. When dry, fill these tall cylinders with mints wrapped in gold foil and stamped with the number 50, to commemorate this milestone anniversary. Place at each table setting or leave grouped on a table by the door for each guest to take home. They’ll get a pretty glass or bud vase to remember the occasion as well as some yummy treats!

2)     For a living centerpiece, take any golden mugs or tea cups you can easily find at any thrift store or garage sale. If you like, you can stencil these, too with a white 50 or maybe the date of the wedding and anniversary. Fill each with a living plant and group in the center of each table. Coordinate the plants and set them with the tallest containers in the middle with the smaller cups surrounding them. You’ll have a beautiful living or flowering centerpiece. But when the party is over, each guest will have a living reminder of the fantastic party & that special couple!

3)     Another centerpiece idea, especially lovely for a night setting, is grouping a set of 50th anniversary candles on a reflective surface, like a square or round mirror tile. You can find elaborate ones at specialty stores, or simple ones at your local home improvement store. The flickering light will be reflected by the mirror adding to the ambiance of that special party! Again, guests can bring home the candle after the party is over and relive their memories of that wonderful party and couple!

4)     Another cute idea is making a picture coaster from clear CD covers. You can use the ones you have lying around the house after you’ve put those CDs in a wallet, or get new ones in bulk at an office supply place. Take out the middle part that holds the CD in place. Fill the center with a piece of cardboard or picture mat. Now you have a couple options. You can place a photo on either side of the mat (a wedding day photo of that particular couple and a present day photo would be ideal!) and place them at each table setting for each guest. Or you can again stencil, or just write with a gold colored permanent marker, the dates of the wedding and anniversary, names of the wonderful couple, or personalize it even further and add your guests’ names, around the edges of the flat sides of the case. Or print off CD sized sheets with the names & dates & slip it inside! Now your guests have a coaster they can personalize with their own precious pictures!

5)     To fill these personalized coasters once guests get home or just for you to have great candid shots of a wonderful party, leave disposable cameras at each place setting so each guest can snap pictures of what they find are the highlights of the evening. Either each guest can take the camera at the end of the party for their own memories, or leave them for you to gather & make a sentimental scrapbook for the special couple of the fun time they had at their 50th anniversary party!
