Engage your baby, by trying these seven activities together.

Even if your baby is as young as six months old, engage your baby in the following seven activities.1. The next time you take your baby to the park or shops, point out and identify scenery that you see such as trees cars flowers ect. Be sure that your baby can see you verbalize what you see.2. Sing and act out children's songs with your baby. Children's TV is ideal for this type activity. Also music CD and DVD works well here.3. With your baby sitting opposite you, roll multi colored balls towards baby. Again be sure your baby can see you verbalize when you count and call out the name or color of the balls.4. With baby watching, place balls from one container into another. If baby is old enough or capable enough, reciprocate with baby doing the same, and with you calling out the color or number of the balls. Praise is important, so don't hold back from congratulating your baby.5. Big soft furry dice is perfect for sticking various pictures on the face of the dice. Call out the names of the pictures or numbers.6. Sock puppets are an excellent alternative to your normal toy. You can make a sad, happy, funny and angry face, with a descriptive word on the reverse.7.
