The child is not able to read or write, or have speech difficulties even after the age of two years. He might have difficulty in understanding the pronunciation or cannot speak at a regular pace. He might also face difficulty in finding the right words to express what he wishes to say.
Teaching him basic concepts like up down, left right, shapes or colors, is difficult.
Everyday simple things like throwing a ball or shutting or opening a zipper or undoing buttons is extremely difficult for the child.
Mathematical learning skills are exceptionally difficult for the child to understand, including numbers, equations etc.
The child finds it hard to pay attention or remember stuff.
Understanding of time is challenging and it is hard for parents to teach these concepts to the child too.
The child’s coordination are not synchronized and it is also difficult for him to manage multiple things at a time.
It is difficult for the child to be organized and parents also often find that it is a struggle for him to keep note of his tasks and things.
The child also faces hardship in following parents’ instructions even though they are given in a very toddler-friendly manner and parents do their utmost to make sure that the child understands.
The toddler might also faces difficulty in understanding what he listens or it is hard for him to listen as well. Or even if he dies listen, he is unable to understand its meaning or connect it to what is needed to be done.
His performance in school is declining for a consistent period and shows a significant decrease.
Even if the child is able to speak, he does it in an immature manner as compared to his age fellows. He might lisp or stutter even after the age when doing so is normal.
Change or any sort of new thing is troublesome for the child.
