This roomy wooden sandbox is big enough for several kids. One of my favorite’s features of this unit is the shaded striped canopy. It is made from fabric that is made to last. The fabric is durable plus it is fire-retardant, waterproof and resistant to mold, mildew and ultraviolet (UV) light. This type of polyester fabric canopy helps to protect children from harmful UV rays.
Another great feature is it has a cover for when it is not in use. This is important as it will keep animals out of the sand and allow the water to drain through the bottom. Not only will your kids think the name is cool, "Play-Zee-Bo" they will think the entire structure it cool as it offers hours of endless imaginative fun for toddlers. Due to the fact that the cover can pose a suffocation hazard, it is best to remove it prior to play and store in a safe place. Adult supervision is required, as young children should not be left unattended. This sandbox has a recommended age of 3 and up.
If you purchase the Play-Zee-Bo , before you begin construction of the unit, youwill need to decide where to buid it in the yeard. The area needs to be level and it needs a heavy plastic 5x5 vapor barrier under it.
Another great feature of this structure is that canopy and sandbox covers may be machine washed in warm water and dried on delicate. As an added bonus, the color will not fade.
This unit boasts a large play area which is approximately 60 5/8 inches wide and is over 5 feet tall. Of course you will need to purchase the play sand locally as it does not come with the Play-Zee-Bo. For maximum fun, you will need about a dozen bags of play sand because you a dept of about seven inches. Gorilla Playsets has again designed a top notch structure for the backyard.
