Graduation Party Invitations

There are lots of elements in creating graduation party invitations to consider. Wording, paper. design and style of the graduation party are a start.

Graduation party invitations do many things. They set the tone for the party and let guests know exactly what you have on offer. For some guests they announce the graduation. The wording in the invitations can let guests know all about the graduate’s achievements and how proud you are. The invitations may also announce the theme of the party and how much fun t is going to be. Graduation party invitations are also informational giving all the key details about the party. Also when a guests looks at and touches the invitation they will get a sense of the expense of the party and also the stage of education that the graduate is at. In brief the graduation invitations do say a lot about the party and the graduate, perhaps without even meaning to.

Starting with the presentation, ask yourself what the key elements are for you and what it is you notice first when you open an invitation.  If you have a luxurious party in mind then you will clearly want to have luxury invitations. That first look and feel should tell your guests all they need to know about the type of party you are having. Other examples, just to illustrate the point, could be a private restaurant based party for family only where the invites are perhaps on the restaurant paper. Another example could be if the party is a black tie dinner followed by a dance. In that case the invitations should reflect the black tie nature of the party. There are lots of other excellent examples. They do need you to think though what it is you are trying to portray. Of course the envelopes will be a match for the invitations giving a great overall look and feel.

The stage of education that the graduate is at is clearly a key element. Kindergarten graduation party invitations should look just like that. High school invitations, college and university invitations should look just like the stage they are at. There are lots of ways of getting the right presentation and one could be to use the school logo or motto.

As well as the design elements that can include things like graduation caps and scrolls, elements for the party theme like sombreros for a Mexican theme, Cowboy hat for a wild west theme, soccer ball, Lei for Luau, the Statue of Liberty for New York, sea shells for Beach and a clown for a circus theme. Each one can be distinct. The other elements can be the paper and style of wording. For a Knights of The Round Table theme you might be able to recreate the ancient writing style. For a luxury party the wording can be printed in gold or silver ink. The paper itself can be anything from cheap printer paper, cardstock or expensive handmade paper.

The final element is the wording. For me this can be the most important part. This is your chance top express your sentiments for the graduate in perhaps a brief but effective way. Brie wording can express things like the difficult journey the graduate has had. It could also express the magnitude of their achievement. In another way it could give a sense of the graduate’s humor and engaging personality. The wording also needs to give the guests all the details they need. Things like times, dates, venue and dress code plus RSVP details are required. It may also be that there are lots of parties and you need to sell the benefits of your party. That could be best theme, best DJFree Web Content, best food and a great venue.

I hope your graduation party invitations work out brilliantly.
