Orange County is one of the most beautiful and varied places on earth. Those of us looking to pop the question in the OC will benefit from a look at some of the most beautiful and romantic locations that this county has to offer.

One of the most beautiful sections of the Orange County coastline is the Crystal Cove area in Laguna Beach. A popular location for those popping the question (though don’t interrupt that as it being crowded- on an average night it is not), Crystal Cove features gazebos, long, sparse beaches, beautiful rock formations, caves, and even the occasional whale and dolphin sighting. In fact, if you like sand but don’t want to do Laguna Beach there are miles of Orange County coast line that would make a great a place to present the ring. Dana Point, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach and Newport Beach all boast beautiful locale’s that would represent a beautiful place for your proposal.

Another thing Orange County doesn’t lack in is parks. In fact, almost every city in Orange County has some sort of signature park that you could consider. The just opened “Great Park” in Irvine boasts acres of well groomed parkland featuring secluded tree acres, giant lawns, and even a hot air balloon that can be utilized for the proposal. For the balloon, just make sure you’re soon to be fiancé isn’t afraid of heights. Central Park in Huntington Beach is several city blocks wide and boasts both rustic and modern charm. It contains lakes, nature preserves, amphitheaters, restaurants and more.

If you’re soon to be fiancée is into camping, Orange County boasts several camp grounds that would serve as a great backdrop. You can find camp sites at Caspers Wilderness Park, Crystal Cove State Park, Irvine Lake, O’Neill Regional Park and more. Each location offers different sights, amenities and hiking trails. If you’re still out of ideas there is always Disneyland. Who wouldn’t want to get proposed to in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle?
