People love to play games. That is the biggest draw for many folks online. There are tons of fun games and many different types of activities that people can involve themselves in if they have an online connection. It may not be the best reason to get online but it is a valid one. Some games are just plain fun while others are great for education.

The educational games are great for children. There are many websites that have free educational games for small children. For many of these you simply set up an account and then your child can play all that they want. There are math games that give the kids an instant congratulation when they get the problem correct. There are also many reading games that help new readers learn new words. These are good for kids and they keep them busy.

You can find websites that will let you play to a certain point or you can pay and then have access to more of the games and fun, for kids and adults. Some games have fantastic creatures that will have a single blow type of battle between the child's character and an opponent of their choice. It is a battle game but basically an extremely mild amount of violence. There are also games that your kids can play with other kids.

Some of these group games have animal characters such as penguins. The penguins can be decked out in an assortment of hats, scarves, and other accoutrement to give them a personalized air. The only contact that your child's penguin will have with other penguins is a list of possible prewritten communication. One penguin can ask another if they want to be friends, etc. With this limitation there is no way that any child can actually give away any personal information at all.

The games are for adults as well. You can play them through any gaming system and you can also escalate the violence a little bit. An adult might not want to dress a penguin but there are other games that are made specifically for adults and can be enjoyed for a long time. They can include war games, and plenty of other games that you might not want your kids playing but can provide countless hours of entertainment.
