Make your own hand sewn stuffed animals

You can make beautiful stuffed animals if you have little experience in sewing.  First you should have a clear idea about the stuffed animal that you want to make. Always make sure that you have all the material that is needed for making your desired stuffed animal. If you have complete material that is required to make stuffed animals then you will not have to face any problem. The next most important step is to select right kind of color and patterns for fabric. You can get fabric in multiple color combinations. However, plain colors work very well. On the other hand, if you are passionate about making a crazy creature or animal then you can go with some crazier patterns. Now fold your fabric in half as per your needs. After this you should draw the base shape of cuddly animal you want to make. For instance, if you want to make a teddy bear, you should draw its body right now. Don’t try to cut the arms, legs, ears and feet at this stage.

After drawing the body, you can cut that particular shape. You should not forget to leave some spare space among the line you are cutting and actual body because the overall size will reduce when you sew it. Now it’s time to thread your needle. You should be careful while threading the needle because it a little carelessness can harm your hand. Now you can stitch the main body for the desired stuffed animals. Body of a stuffed animal is the major part. Therefore, you should sew it with great care and attention. You should leave a place to attach head, ears, legs and tails to body. Now you can design other important parts of stuffed animals and they mainly include neck, ears, legs, and tails.

You should take all the measurements properly because improper measurements can never provide you a well-stitched stuffed animal. After attaching all the important parts of cuddly animal to its body, you should think about filling the inside space of its body. You can use beads or straws to fill the inside body of stuffed animals. There are many other types of materials that can also be used to fill up the inside space. You should select the inside material that is not harmful and lovely to touch. You can sew some beads to make the face of stuffed animals. Embroidery can also serve you in this regard.
