As a final note on pool landscaping, avoid flowers that will attract flying pests. The swimming pool area is likely to have people around, and kids and adults swimming. Skipping plants that attract bugs like bees will help to keep the swimming pool area safe. Bee attracting plants are not appropriate for pool landscaping.
