Shopping christmas decorations from the end of Sept. and then deck the house, putting up the christmas led light before Remembrance Day is right or wrong?

Last Sunday,Right to light Christmas LED lights before a special day? Articles my family was the first one to put up serials of colorful Christmas wreath and light Xmas decor LED lights . Taking full use of the decorations from Halloween, I plan to use pumpkin to decor for a few strands of LED lights.

I think I am right not to be the last minutes to put up my Christmas lights under the cold night, which I did last year. I have made a whole new mistake by putting our Xmas ornaments up before Remembrance Day. Although I bought and wore a poppy from Nov.1st to the 11th, also took part in three ceremonies on Remembrance Day. It is hard to avoid some opinions on action of switching Christmas lights on before Remembrance Day

A: Not agree! It is disrespectful! Why do we have to speed up our original high speed lives in such a hurry? Let's slow down and enjoy the few colored leaves that remain and the mild days we're still getting surprised with.

The right time to put up Christmas lights is Dec. 1st. An appropriate time for Christmas carols and store decorations is December 1st. I love Christmas, which is exactly why I hate seeing it smeared across two full months of commercials, cloying versions of beautiful songs, and over-the-top decorating. It is not necessary to begin immediately celebrating the next holiday the day after the last one.

Canada doesn't seem to be as bad as the UK where stores start going Xmas from around the end of September. Probably because there's Thanksgiving in between here, which at least forms a barrier to the colonization of the rest of the year by Christmas! I can not tell what does Remembrance Day have to do with anything at all. But I think it is a totally different kind of event. What I can tell is that I know there's a growing nationalistic militarism which seems to think that Remembrance Day should be a celebration of our military and that anything that seems to be different to this is wrong, but that's not what the day should be about anyway. It's a day to remember the dead in wars quietly - all of them, whether they were American or from any other nation. It's a day which is a pause for thought from whatever else is going on, whatever that is.

B: Agree, it is not a rude gesture.Actually, more and more people have been putting up their Xmas decor LED lights for recent a couple of two weeks. Personally I can not see why putting up your Christmas lights before Remembrance Day is supposed to be a big insult to Veterans. As long as we remember them and show them our respect in wearing the poppy and attending the ceremonies, I think they will forgive us.

As the Christmas day coming, many stores do their best to get a great jump as for the popular commercialization of Christmas. We would like to agree and enjoy the early Christmas prices and shop early to get rid of mall crowds.

How about your ideas? Whether agree or not, I just want to enjoy things we need, and remember what we should.
