Used to having to work hard and struggle to reach your goals? There’s an easier way… here are 5 steps to achieving with ease.

One of my coaches said to me the other day,Stop Struggling… Achieve with Ease Articles "Struggle is optional."

What?  You mean I've been needlessly struggling all these years for nothing?  I could have been creating with ease?  Yikes.  What a waste of time.

Okay, so what's the catch?  Truthfully, there isn't one.  Learning to create with ease instead of struggle has been right there in front of me all this time... I just wasn't ready to "see" it.

Achieving what we want really is only as difficult as we choose to make it, or conversely, as easy as we allow it to be.  Here is what I've learned about creating your goal with ease:

1.  Stay in your business.

One of the biggest lessons I learned and one I hear my clients struggling with all the time, is "How do I create what I want when the people closest to me aren't "on board"?".

Guess what?  It doesn't matter.  Any time we're looking outside ourselves for confirmation of what we want or agreement from others, we're distracting ourselves from our own work.  Gandhi said, "Be the change you want to see in the world."

Instead of focusing our attention on what others are doing, we need to look within and ask, "Where am I avoiding change?  Why am I waiting for someone else to change before I can create what I want?  Is there a part of myself that I'm not willing to look at, and that's why I'm distracting myself with what someone else is or isn't doing?"

When I finally figured this out, it was huge.  I stopped waiting for everything and everyone else around me to change before I could create what I wanted, and instead focused on creating the changes within myself.

Am I perfect at it yet?  Hardly.  But I've become much more conscious that as soon as I start pointing my finger outwards towards someone else, I instead turn it around to me... it's definitely a journey, but one that gets easier all the time.

2.  In addition to what you want, get really clear about WHY you want it.

The more clear you become, the easier it is to stay focused on it, especially when you have a bad day or come up against some old limiting beliefs.  Remembering why you want to create a relationship, and going back to what it will look like and even more importantly, how it will feel when you have it, is critical to your success.

3.  Let go of the "how."

This was a biggie for me.  My analytical brain immediately goes into overdrive when I want to create something and starts trying to figure out how to create it.  Big mistake.  The more we try and force things to happen, the more we move out of "inspired action", and the more we push away what it is we're wanting.  It seems confusing, I know.  We're so used to having to make things happen and we’ve learned growing up that the harder we work, the more results we'll see.  But it doesn't have to be that way.

It is possible to let the Universe figure out the "how", stay focused on our "what", then stay in the feeling of what it feels like to have our goal, and allow the absolutely amazing results to show up.

Will there be action required?  Quite possibly.  But if you wait to let the Universe show it to you through being inspired, your actions will be effortless and easy... and there will be no struggle involved.

4.  Surround yourself with support.

It is so important to put yourself in environments that will support your success as often as possible.  Our families and friends aren't always our best support systems.  I wish it were otherwise, but from what I hear from my clients, and in my own experience, sometimes they just aren't.

But all is not lost.  Find other like-minded people who believe in you and in your dreams... even more importantly, people who believe in your greatness.  People who have "believing eyes" for what you want to create in your life.

Read uplifting books, listen to uplifting audios or affirmations, hire a coach, talk to a supportive friend... but find ways to bring in the support system you need to manifest your success.

5.  Invite God, your Divine Spirit, or your Higher Self to help you express all your magnificent self.

When you're struggling or losing faith, just stop and ask, "Now what?"  Let God and all his angels, your Inner Guidance, or Higher Self, to come bolster your belief and confidence to keep you going or guide you in the right direction.  It works.  I've done it many, many times, and what happens afterwards never ceases to amaze me.

You will know without a doubt, that everything you want is within your reach... you just have to ask, receive and allow it all to come... with ease.
