Renting a pavilion at a park for the day does not cost that much and some places do not charge anything. The park already has the entertainment like a playground. Also there can be baseball, kickball and soccer balls brought to entertain. Some parks allow for the rental of a jump machine. The cost of a jump machine can start as low as one hundred dollars, depending on the company. The food can be brought to the park with an easy menu. Also just a few decorations like table cloth and balloons all around the pavilion will make it really look nice. A great child's party can happen in someone's home for a large group. The parents can invite as many people their heart desires without their wallet crying. If not everyone shows up who was invited then people can take home the leftovers so nothing is wasted. There is a little more planning that goes into having a party at home. The parents must plan for entertainment for the children or there may not be a home left due to the children expressing their boredom. Also there should be prizes for the games but these can bought for cheap in multiple packages. No matter where the party takes place, the most important thing is that the birthday child is having fun.
