Parents must understand that their role is only to guide their kids to be potty trained and should not be forced if they are not yet ready. Diaper days will only be over when your kid voluntarily ditches her diapers away.

The stage of potty training is a hard thing for both parents most especially with working parents. They wanted their kids to leave the old diaper days as soon as possible. But it is not the parents' decision when the training begins. Speeding up on this stage will only lead you and your kids to frustration.

In that particular age group, kids will show indications such as the curiosity of using the toilet. They will be following of what you are going to do just like sitting on the bowl and flushing.

Kids will definitely learn to feel uncomfortable when his diaper is already wet. Sooner or later, you will be surprised that your kid is trying to let you know whether they are or about to go. A soiled diaper will make your child feel irritable. This wouldn't help with your kids anyway.

You may get some information from bookstores and instructional videos about potty training that you can share to your kid and this will make sure help your kid be motivated enough to go to the toilet.

Basically, teach your kid about the fundamentals of using toilet in terms of pulling his pants and undies up and down, posture and hygiene. To take the first stage of potty training, you must give supplementary fruit juices daily to your kid so he will be asking you to go to the toilet maybe within a 30-minute interval. This might take a longer time but you can read him a story or let him learn a new song during that time. Your kid will feel a lot better when you appreciate such as saying "Very Good", when he is done.

At this point, always remember that it is your kid that is undergoing the stage of potty training and not you. Have patience and let your kid enjoy this very important stage of her life. At this instant, your old diaper days are now over.
