this past Spring and Summer, DWTS just completed its tenth season and it seems
that every year that there are more and more viewers and the competition gets
better and better. The best thing about the show is waiting to see who the
celebrity or 'stars' will be dancing on the show. There have been a laundry
list of celebrities who have competed and every year it is always a celebrity
that is big in the news that always competes.
Dancing With The Stars debuted on ABC in the Summer of 2005. That year the
first person to win was former Playboy model and soap opera actress, Kelly
Monaco. Since then has seen the likes of Emmitt Smith, Apollo Anton Ohno, Helio
Castroneves, Drew Lachey, Kristi Yamaguchi, Brooke Burke, Shawn Johnson, Donny
Osmond, and Nicole Scheringzer all win the coveted 'Mirror Ball' trophy that
goes to the winner. It is now gotten to the point to where the professional
dancers have gained a following. Some of those have even achieved fame such as
Julianne Hough who has gone on to a successful country music career.
Season 11 starts Sept. 20 on ABC. The celebrity cast will include Bristol
Palin, actor David Hasselhoff, The Situation of Jersey Shore, Brandy, Florence
Henderson, NBA's Rick Fox, Margaret Cho, NFL's Kurt Warner, singer Micheal
