Sometimes being able to put a smile on your little one’s face is the most satisfying reward in the whole world. In most families it's more than necessary for both the father and mother to work to make ends meet and give their kids a secure future. However small kids don’t actually understand why their parents are so busy.

They crave for their parents’ time and attention. So once in a while,Treat Your Children To Weekend Treats Articles remember to make it a habit to get away from your busy schedule and enjoy a weekend with your kids.

Kids are so full of energy that you simply have to take them some place where they can spend all that, have fun and at the same time provides a bit of information. If you are planning a weekend stay, make sure your hotel /cottage or leisure resot isn’t at a too remote place. Station yourself in a cosy place with easy access to some of the below venues:

Amusement Parks
You can be assured that visiting an amusement park is going to be a Kid’s dream come true. Kids will be blasting to go on the Rides, especially water based ones. You are going to have a hard time getting them out of the water .Merry-go rounds, Bumper cars, Haunted cave rides, Dancing horses, Crazy cars, Animation movies and never to forget cartoon characters and clowns running around the place are simply going to enchant your little ones.

Zoos
All kids love animals. For kids living in cities, animals exist only in story books. So surprise them by showing some real animals. If you get the timings right, you can see feeding time and also the animals being exercised. It is something your children will never forget.

Farm stay
Another good idea that gets children interested in nature and the animal world is if you can arrange for a stay at a farm. The kids will love waking to the sounds of cows, goats and chickens (even if mum and dad don't!). They will definitely enjoy the fresh air and lovely home made food. If they are lucky they can take part in feeding the animals too!

Beaches
Bring out the creativity in your kids and build away sand castles, play games as simple as throwing the ball, go surfing (do take safety measures) or enjoy a ride on a pedalo, nibble on roasted peanuts, dance in the waves and watch your kids fall in love with the sea!

Of course there are many other things that you can do on a weekend breakto amuse your little ones - Museums, Planetariums, Children’s festivals, Chocolate Factories, Toy shops, Swimming pools etc. The list is almost endless, it just takes some get up and go!
