These test kits are used for obtaining a qualitative and a visual result for detecting early pregnancy. There is a secretion of the HCG hormone by the development of placenta. This is done very shortly just after fertilization takes place. The HCG appears soon after conceiving. There is a rise in the concentration. This is mainly during the very early gestational period. This is one of the excellent pregnancy tips for detecting pregnancy very early.

The concentration of HCG is very high in the first urine in the morning. Therefore, it is considered to be the best sample. However, one can also use various urine specimens.
  • The strip can be held vertically. It should be dipped carefully in the specimen. The urine can be collected in a dry and clean container. The strip should be immersed in the sample of urine. The arrow should point towards the urine. However, the Max line should not be immersed. The strip should be taken out every 3 seconds. Then it must be laid on flat on a dry, non absorbent and a clean surface.  The tip of the test strip should be dipped in the urine as the instructions given above. Sometimes, the dye doesn’t reach the result area. However, constant trials should be made till the dye doesn’t travel across this area.
  • One should wait for the appearance of colored bands. This will depend on the concentration of the HCG in the test specimen. One can observe positive results in just 40 seconds. However, for confirming negative results, the reaction time is just of 5 minutes. Clearing the background well in advance is of great importance. This should be done before reading the result. However, after a specified reaction time, results should not be read. This is one of the best pregnancy tips.
