This is a fairly easy question to answer and as I have lived in France myself, I know what I’m talking about. I was lucky enough to live on the Southern Coast with gorgeous views of the Mediterranean on one side and views of the infamous and imposing Mount Canigou to the other. This mountain is just one of many that make-up the Pyrenees and if you have a head for heights, the views from the top are quite simply some of the most stunning I have ever seen in my life.

In fact,Why Are So Many People Moving To France? Articles France as a whole is a beautiful country and it would take a life-time to visit all of the attractions it has to offer. It’s not just natural beauty France has but stunning Cities that are steeped in ancient history. The architecture to be found is some of the best in Europe and you will find yourself looking up at the buildings instead watching your step.

Obviously this all sounds a bit like a tourist article but I felt it needed to be said because these are couple of reasons why so many people are moving to France. Below, I have listed a few more practical reasons why people want to live in this wonderful country.

The Climate – The Northern part of France has a climate similar to that of England but only in winter. The summers there are guaranteed and it’s a known fact that many Parisians will seek the South of France in order to get away from the heat in summer. The further South you go, the milder the winters are, however, if you like a bit of snow, just head for the mountains.

The Food – France has some of the most diverse culinary delights to be had and you won’t have a problem finding something you like.

Cheap Property – As we all know, property in the UK and many other parts of Europe not so long ago hit a boom. Whilst we are experiencing an economic downturn at the moment, you can still get way more for your money in France. If you’re not afraid of some DIY, there are plenty of properties to choose from.

The People – I have heard many negative things said about the French but I happen to think they’re just misunderstood. My experience of the people there was wonderful and if you’re willing to learn French, they will love you even more. The French are a very patriotic bunch and are proud of their heritage and their language. You can see this everywhere while going about daily life.

Laid-Back – The pace of life in France is very relaxed. I remember not so long ago, walking through the streets of London and realising just how stressed everybody appeared to be, this is not the case in France. Life almost has a “manana” (tomorrow in Spanish for those of you that don’t know) attitude towards it yet the work ethic is still there.

These are just a few reasons why so many people move to France, there are many more I could add but you will probably still be reading this next week!
