I have spent my entire life uninsured, carried auto, life but never caved into paying for health insurance. Call it cheap or stubborn I was always in pretty good health and just felt like I never needed it. I always made good money and was able to pay for all my basic medical needs and if something bad and costly were to happen I really did not care who paid for it.

I have spent my entire life uninsured,Thankfully I Had The Insurance That I needed Articles carried auto, life but never caved into paying for health insurance. Call it cheap or stubborn I was always in pretty good health and just felt like I never needed it. I always made good money and was able to pay for all my basic medical needs and if something bad and costly were to happen I really did not care who paid for it.

Things changed, I was married and were about to have our first child. Being the sensible husband and father to be I had decided to cover ourselves and our unborn with the best health insurance money can buy. It was Lucky I did because this pregnancy was going to be the most horrible experience of our life.

Seventh months in to her pregnancy my wife was admitted to the hospital. She started to experience severe pain and complications and needed to remain for the rest of her term. They were focusing on keeping my with alive but the baby was also at risk. The room was constantly full with several different doctors, pediatric specialist and nurses. She needed intensive care until all the way to the delivery.

The baby barely made it and my wife was hanging on by a thread. They were both in a serious condition. With my wife in recovery the baby went right into surgery for a complication he was having with his breathing. It took several weeks including another surgery before my kid was nearly out of the woods. With my wife making a full recovery we could focus on getting our child better. The baby made it but with the misfortune of having an ongoing medical condition.

How anyone could have survived all this is beyond me. If it was not for the incredible actions and dedication of the hospital my wife and son probably would not be here today. I firmly believe that without our great coverage somehow it would have not turned out so well. We were covered and are still cover today for my sons ongoing needs.
