The pirate called Blackbeard was born in 1680 named Edward Teach, he originally came from Bristol and moved to the Caribbean in the early 1700's to join the privateers he first went to Jamaica and when privateering licenses were revoked by Britain Blackbeard turned to thievery, he had a ship which he caught from the French and called Queen Anne's Revenge and this is what he converted into his forty gun flagship. Though Black beard ( He renamed himself after his long black hairs ) is among the most notorious and disgraceful Pirates ever he was never very successful at piracy, he was usually equipped with daggers, epees and pistols there's also no proof of him murdering anybody until the day of his own death, Blackbeard had the power to put fear into any individual he came into contact with as he used to be a big man who when he went into battle would plat his beard into pig tails and hide slow burning matches behind so that smoke would circle his face which sometimes in itself was enough for the merchant captains to surrender. Blackbeard had three hundred men and four ships and they were successful in gaining products from all the ships which they attacked they went and did this with Mariners from North Carolina to New England. There were tons of hideouts for the pirates around North Carolina.

Blackbeard left the Caribbean in 1718 to explore and raid other places such as Virginia and the Carolinas, it was here that he performed some of the most expectant raids of his career one of which was hosting a week long besiege of Charleston Harbor which he was hoping to gain drugs from and he was once guarded by the governor of Carolina who shared his cash. The Governor of Virginia put a price on pirates head in retaliation to this and Blackbeard was scammed into a battle in 1718 in which he died, legend has it that even after he'd been shot and stabbed that Blackbeard still managed to fight on until he died while shooting a pistol.
