Cleaning The Coffee Maker

When you clean your coffee maker it takes out the hard mineral water deposits and old oils from other coffee brew's that build up and can make your coffee taste gross.

Using a mixture of at least 1 cup of vinegar and 2 cups of water is the probably most efficient way to clean you're coffee maker at home. Then mix a full pot of  vinegar and, pour it in your water reservoir and turn the coffee maker on.

Once the mixture has gone through the entire cycle, rinse and repeat one time and then rinse twice with water brewing the coffee maker each time. Pour the old vinegar and water mixture down you're sink drain.

Next, rinse the pot out really well with hot and cold water. Then, fill the water reservoir again with clean water and turn the coffee maker on to start the rinsing process.

To make sure all of the vinegar and water solution is completely gone repeat the rinsing process one more time after letting the pot cool for 15 to 20 minutes.
