Organic Herbal Teas

What is the difference between them?

All types of Organic Herbal Teas (green, black, and oolong) are produced from the Camellia Sinensis plant using different methods.

Fresh leaves from the Camellia Sinensis plant are steamed to produce herbal green teas, and are usually brewed and drunk as a beverage, although it can be taken in capsule form, and is sometimes used in skin products.

Herbal organic tea is well known for its antioxidant properties, together with their anti inflammatory and anti cancer properties.

Organic herbal teas are extremely popular today, due to the very method of growing and processing them, which goes a long way to protect our natural resources, rather than depleting them.

To be classed as organic, herbal teas are grown on land that has been free from the use of synthetic fertilizers, growth regulators, insecticides or herbicides for at least three years, so methods such as composting, crop rotation, and inter planting to control weeds and pests, replenishing the soil, are all used by the farmers to maintain and sustain our planet's health.

What distinguishes organic black tea from regular black tea is that it is free of pesticides and grown using the above methods.

Herbal black tea is famous for its clear, red brilliant colour, strong aroma and mellow taste, and is prepared with high quality teas from an ecological organic tea plantation on the mountains in South West China. It comes from the same Camellia Sinensis plant as green tea, but the only difference is in the fermentation process of the black teas, and is more oxidized than the green, oolong and white varieties.

People who have been drinking Organic Herbal Teas for some time have obviously been afforded the benefits derived by this organically grown tea, such as its bacteria destroying ability, which can help to prevent food poisoning, and you may also be delighted to know that green tea can even help prevent tooth decay, and can also kill the bacteria which causes dental plaque.

Evidence has clearly shown in the herbal tea world, that there are immeasurable health benefits of green and black organic herbal tea.

Many scientists believe that there is a connection between all of the components of green tea, and these combined properties account for its health enhancing properties, and their popularity will continue to rise as scientists learn more about these medicinal benefits.
