Just like pizza bagels would like you to think,Pizza, Ice Cream, Ketchup: Foods Most People Love Articles pizza is good almost anytime. I love pizza for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. But there are other foods that are also good almost anytime. For instance, most people love ketchup. I will put ketchup on almost anything. The traditional: I love it on French fries. There is something so perfect about ketchup on French fries. I think it has to do with the saltiness of the fries and the perfect combination of salty, sweet, and vinegar in the ketchup. And really ketchup on anything potato is delicious. I love it on hash browns, on sautéed potatoes, on fried potatoes, and pretty much anything potato. Again, it's that perfect combination of the starch in the potato, the salty and other spices, and then the delicious combo of the salty, sweet, and vinegar of the ketchup. It just has a perfect combination. Then again, I could even just eat ketchup all by itself.

Some people love mayonnaise almost as much as ketchup, if not more so. Some people will literally put mayo on anything. I have known people that will put mayo on pizza. In fact, a long time ago, when there were shortages of cheese in Russia, people would just make their pizzas with mayo instead of cheese. They would put the sauce on the bread, then a layer of mayo, and then the other toppings. Sounds delicious to some, but abhorrent to others I'm sure.

Another food that many people will eat anytime, anywhere is ice cream. Ice cream is one of those foods, that no matter how cold it is, I will probably want to eat some of it. It is creamy, delicious, and can be combined with many different ingredients, so it can be infinitely malleable to your cravings. For me it is that perfect comfort food. I eat it plain, put it on cobblers, crumbles, cookies, pies, you name a dessert and I would combine it with ice cream. Sometime about it, especially vanilla ice cream, just goes so well together. The combo of the warm pastry or baked good and the cold, slowly melting, creamy vanilla ice cream is heavenly. I love the temperature difference the most. For me that makes the whole experience amazing. Then there is the different kinds of combos. With a warm brownie, there is the creamy vanilla mixing with the chocolate, plus the warm gooey chocolate mixing with the cold, melting vanilla. But with a pie, there is the fruity mixing with the vanilla, which is a completely different taste experience. In summer and spring time, I crave the fruit taste. It is refreshing and I think that my body and tongue instinctively know that this is the time that fruit is ripe. Whereas it's in winter and fall that I crave the heavier, darker chocolate flavor combination. For me, in the dark months, the darker flavors match better. It provides me comfort and more happiness, which is what I need during the sun deprived months.
