Do you know what a latte is?  If so,What is a Caffe’ Mocha? Articles then you will already know the basic ingredients of a Caffe' Mocha too.  A latte consists of two parts steamed milk and one part espresso.  This ratio means the taste of these beverages is influenced more by the milk than the espresso unlike other variations.

What separates a latte from a Caffe' Mocha is chocolate.  It is the only type of espresso drink that makes use of this ingredient.  There are different types of chocolate which can be used to make the beverage.  They can range from instant hot cocoa powder to special syrups.

Using syrup instead of powder will make your Caffe' Mocha more dense and sweet.  However, the special syrups used to make these beverages can be a bit on the expensive side.  An alternative is to use standard chocolate syrup found at most every grocery store.  Another cheaper solution is hot cocoa mix.

When making a latte or Caffe' Mocha, you will usually add creamer to the beverage.  Instead of getting a regular creamer, you could choose to get one with a mocha flavor instead.  Using this option will not yield a beverage with much of a chocolate flavor though.

As you should already know, the basic ingredient to make a latte or Caffe' Mocha is espresso.  To make it you will need an espresso machine of some sort.  Like standard coffeemakers, there are many different brands and prices to choose from.  More advanced designs will allow you to create great tasting espressos, lattes, or Caffe' Mochas at the push of a button.

Some people do not even use espresso at all when creating a Caffe' Mocha.  Instead, they use coffee which has been brewed strongly in a machine or French press.  You will still need to add steamed milk though.  It is still easy even if you do not have a steam wand attachment on an espresso machine.

Simply put some milk in a saucepan and warm it up on the stove.  Whole milk will produce a nice foam.  Skim milk will too, and has fewer calories for those looking to watch their weight.  If you need to produce foam while warming your milk up on the stove, then have a whisk handy.

No matter whether you use true espresso or strongly brewed coffee, make sure you only use high-quality beans.  If you don't, then your Caffe' Mocha will not be of the best quality no matter how you make it.
