Atco Balmoral Petrol Cylinder Mowers

The Atco Balmoral range of petrol cylinder mowers are undoubtedly some of the finest lawn care machines on the market today. If you are looking for the best finish for your lawn these mowers are perhaps some of the best you can buy.

There are 3 models in the range - 14", 17" and 20". All share essentially the same specification.

All are powered by the same powerful 3hp 4-stroke Kawasaki engine with recoil starter. The three-way drive arrangement allows the blades to be disengaged without stopping the engine, convenient for emptying the grassbox and for powered manoeuvres around the garden. In addition you can take the roller out of drive for manoeuvring around trees or into confined corners. The system is protected by a centrifugal clutch.

You get a great finish from the standard 6 bladed cylinder. Those who crave absolute perfection can opt for the ten-blade cutting cylinder instead for a flawless finish. A great feature is Atco mowers patented QX system, which allows the cutting cylinder to be easily exchanged for a scarifying cassette, turning your mower into a powered lawn raker. Cutting height is infinitely adjustable between 6 and 36 mm.

Any squashed grass is lifted into the blades by the spring-tine comb at the front. The heavy steel rear roller produces a beautiful stripe. The 17” and 20” models have a split rear roller with a differential drive. This independent movement leads to less damage to the grass and helps with manoeuvrability.

Another useful feature of the Atco Balmoral range is the set of side wheels (supplied free) which lift up the mower to let you cut longer grass.

Weight is reduced by the use of high-impact poypropylene for the large grass boxes.

As you would expect, there is a great warranty on the Atco Balmoral range, of 3 years for parts and 2 years for engine and labour.

So a petrol cylinder mower from Atco will be perfect for those who demand only the best. Whether your lawn is small or largeFree Web Content, an Atco Balmoral will prove a great choice.
