In simple, E-Governance is defined as the blend of governance with the next-generation technologies for smooth and seamless operations in government sectors. In short, E-governance provides free access to people about information through the internet by government agencies or sectors.

E-governance is developed for the public sector to use IC Technology to increase the delivery of information and service to the common people, promote citizen participation in decision-making, and make government more accountable, transparent, and efficient.
