3 easy face lift exercises

There are over 850 muscles in your body; however, your facial muscles always seem to get little or no exercise. The funny thing is that they are the ones that get the bulk of the stress. Just think of how many times you curl the lips to scowl, or even just wrinkle up your forehead.

Here are a 3 exercises for the face you can easily do anytime.

Face Exercise #1 : Squezee the lif

This facial exercise works the circular Obicularis Oculi muscle that is found around the eyes. It is perfect for toning and firming the eyelids. It can also help get rid of those eye bags and the puffiness that you may sometimes find around your eye area, giving you a younger look.

To do this exercise, close your eyes and place your palms over your eyelids, so that the heels of your hands rest against them. The inner edges of your palms should be resting against the skin between your eyebrows. Put your pinkies on the center of your forehead.

Inhale deeply and squeeze your eyelids tightly. Feel your eyelids working against the resistance of your hands. Hold this position for 5 seconds and exhale as you gently relax your eyelids. Exhale as you gently release your eyelids.

Face Exercise #2 : Oh La la!

If you thought face exercises where all work and no play, this one will prove you wrong. This one is designed to help strengthen and target the Modiolus muscles that are found around the lips.

The goal is to firm them up and get rid of the fine lines. Alright now pucker your lips into your sexiest pout. You are going to blow kisses by lightly pressing your lips with the tips of your index and middle fingers. You then extend your palm straight in front of your neck. Concentrate on feeling the burn in the muscles around your lips.

Face Exercise #3 : The Blowfish

This is an isometric toning exercise which works the Buccinator, Zygomatic arch and the Modiolus muscles at the same time. The goal is to remove the puffiness in your cheeks, while at the same time sculpting and smoothing the cheeks to give you nice lean lines.

This exercise for the face is also useful when it comes to bringing out and defining the cheekbones. Fill your left cheek with air to its maximum capacity. Open the left corner of your mouth slightly and use the muscles of your left cheek to push the air outFeature Articles, exerting as much force outwardly as you can. Repeat this 10 times and then switch to the right side.
