There are a lot of misconceptions in the weight loss subject. Each day,4 Fat Loss Traps That Do Not Help You With Your Weight Articles new people bring up strategies in order for you to burn more calories and to lose more weight. They invent new diets, invent pills or give strange advice like not using oils for your meals. Below you can see 4 fat loss traps that most people nowadays believe in.

Taking "diet pills"

Unfortunately, a lot of people prefer taking pills instead of actually adjusting their diets and doing some workouts. Some pills contain DNP (dinitrophenol), which is extremely dangerous! I can only warn against DNP and other diet pills, sometimes even if the advertisement says otherwise. There aren't any pills that burn your fat. The only thing that works is training and having a good diet.

Cooking without oil or fat

I have heard about different people who stopped using oil in order to reduce calories. They think that by taking off oils or fats, that they have done enough to lose weight and they probably start eating other things, gaining weight again. What you need to understand is that fat doesn't make you fat. Excessive calories make you fat. A lot of important body functions require fats in order to function correctly.

So next time you cook, don't forget about oil. As long as your food doesn't swim in oil, everything should be fine.

No more candy

We all love candy. When you intend to lose weight, you usually try and cut the candy out of your diet. Well this is pretty good, but mentally really difficult. You will have cravings and by telling yourself “no” all the time, you make the losing weight process even harder.

You should allow yourself to have a little of candy per week. This way you can reward yourself for achieving certain weight goals. It's important though to control the ingestion and not go crazy on the candy.

Skipping breakfast

If you don't breakfast, you will be even hungrier later on which will make you eat a lot of food and you will therefore gain weight again. You should have a good breakfast, especially because it gives you the energy that you need for the rest of the day. Use whole-grain products for breakfast, as they provide you with complex carbohydrates which release the energy during a longer period.

Losing weight is a rocket science but it needs science so don't just depend on wrong popular ideas and think you can lose weight this way. Make sure you follow the above tips regularly and you will see good results in shoet time.
