If you are tired and worn out by the efforts you give to you friends and family, you might consider treating yourself to a little makeover. Abdominoplasty is something some women consider to be a part of that mommy make-over.

You have braved motherhood and are now the mother of a couple of wonderful children. You might be really brave and have four or five kids but the number of children does not matter, what matters is you have been super mom for years now. Abdominoplasty might seem like a stretch, especially if you are just starting to get back to taking care of yourself. But think about it, wouldn’t it feel great to look the way you did years ago. There is something to aging gracefully but that doesn’t mean that you have to be out of shape or even carry around that extra pooch on your stomach all the time. You can look great, feel great and still age gracefully.

Don’t worry about scarring. Generally your physician will make the incision in an area where it would be hidden by your panty line or incorporated into an existing scar such as a C-Section scar. There is no reason why anyone should ever know that you have had one of these surgeries. As long as you eat healthy and take care of your body there is no reason why this surgery wouldn't last you decades.

You have been super mom for many years, you have taken good care of your family, but you are ready for a make-over to find the girl you feel like you lost when you became “Mom”. Having an abdominoplasty is a great way to get yourself back to what you once had and give yourself that little treat that you’ve been withholding for so many years.
