The Diet:

A balanced diet demands fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Also, low or no fat dairy products, lean meat and fish. Along with these you are also recommended to eat nuts, beans and seeds. Then again you must remember that balanced diet would vary from person to person. Your calorie intake would vary and hence you must visit a dietician to get that correct ratio of nutrients that you need to take in. Though, ideally an average man should consume 2000 calories per day.  But more or less a balanced diet means eating more fruits, vegetables, starchy, fibre-rich foods and fresh products, and fewer fatty, sugary, salty and processed foods.

If a food pyramid is to made regarding a balanced diet it would include fats and oils at the top, then milk, yogurt, cheese, meat, poultry, fish and nuts, third would come vegetables and fruits and followed by bread, cereal and pasta at the base.

There are many advantages of having A balanced diet would help you maintain your body tissue. The nutrients that we get from fruits and vegetables help in protecting cells throughout your body. This is because they contain vitamins and antioxidants. Antioxidants are substances that protect cells in your body from the effects of radicalized molecule. A balanced diet also has a good effect on your brain and nervous system functioning. Colourful fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants that promote memory functioning. Also whole grains contain vitamin B and magnesium and these are both very important for healthy brain and nerve functioning. Balanced diet is most important for growing children. They experience body growth at a tender age and a balanced diet with all the important nutrients help that cause in a fast and effective way.

It is however very essential that you do not over feed yourself, just consume what is necessary and in a proportionate amount. The gist of this entire topic is that in order to remain healthy a balanced diet is required. This is nothing but an amalgamation of all the different foods available. It would an added advantage if you could induct an exercise regime to your routine while eating such variations in food.
