Almost all of us don’t give a thought to the quality of the water we drink, forget testing it. It is estimated as of today that more than eighty percent of the diseases are caused by water borne germs and this is because the water supply is contaminated.

Now many nations do not have the facilities or equipment to test and purify water. There are no sophisticated and high-tech labs to aid in Drinking water testing . But the modern technology today has made Drinking water analysis easier, quicker and even cheaper.

A large majority of people do not realize that even the water supply that you get at home can be contaminated and the same can pose to be a major health hazard especially to infants, growing kids, pregnant women and the elderly in the house. In the case of pregnant women the risk of a miscarriage increases drastically. Contaminated water can also pose a grave danger to the unborn child which can even lead to permanent brain damage.

Even if you have your own private tube-well; you can never be a hundred percent sure that the water is not contaminated at all.  Regular tests should be carried out on the ground water to ensure it is pure and potable. If any impurities are found in it, the same should be treated properly.

Though water in public places is usually pre-tested, it can also be contaminated. Drinking water testing is a very important precaution that needs to be taken. For corporate offices, those who source water in bulk from private suppliers, it is important that they take it from after an in-depth drinking water analysis has been carried out on it.

Well water has to be specially tested due to the increase in the number of malls, petrol stations, mining activities and other such ground-intensive activities that cause pollution and impair the natural purification system.

Another important fact to be kept in mind is that no single drinking water test or Drinking water analysis can take care of all the impurities. Also, going for cheap water testing kits is one of the biggest mistakes that one can make. It is best that you get your water supply tested by a specialized laboratory to be fully sure.
