Exfoliate Regularly

Use a gentle exfoliating cleanser at least two to three times per week. Do not use the cleanser more than twice a week as that may be counterproductive. While scrubbing the cleanser on your skin, make slight circular motions with your finger for a minute. You may either choose a store bought exfoliating product or make your own by mixing 2 tbs. of olive oil with 1 teaspoon of sea salt or baking soda.

Go Easy with Make-Up 

You may want to slap a layer of foundation on your face to hide the flaws, but sometimes, less is more as far as make-up is concerned. Make sure that you put just enough make=-up to cover the blemishes. Pick a hypoallergenic foundation that is less likely to lead to skin irritation. Whatever you do, make sure that it is minimal and washed off before bedtime.

To make sure that your complexion remains the way you want, you do not really have to pitch in a lot of money spend hours in front of the mirror. Of all the things that you do to maintain a healthy complexion, the most important is to observe your skin well and treat  it with what it needs and not want you want. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin moisturised and soft.
