Taking appropriate care of your skin after pollution,Beauty Tips for Skin Articles sweat and sun exposure during the day is essential to prevent the natural radiance of your skin from fading away. Here are some beauty tips for skin:

1. Use rose water twice in a day to prevent dirt from sticking on your oily skin causing bacterial infections that may lead to the development of pimples, acne and other unwanted eruptions.

2. To cleanse the face, use a lavender toner. This helps in reducing the facial inflammation and keeps your skin hydrated by restoring its pH balance.

3. Harsh and fragrant soaps are laden with strong chemicals that may have an adverse effect on your skin. Therefore, abstain from using such soaps and opt for herbal soaps.

4. For wiping your face, make sure that you use thoroughly cleaned and germ-free towels or handkerchiefs. Do not use anybody’s make-up brushes or facial wipes.

5. Make sure that the pillow you use has a clean pillow cover or the dirt trapped in may cause bacterial infection, thereby causing pimples and blackheads.

6. Body massage not only relieves body aches, but also increases blood circulation to the skin giving it a glowing and charming look. Use olive oil to massage your skin.

7. Refrain from using body moisturisers until your skin feels dry. If your skin is dry and flaky, remember to apply moisturiser in the morning and before going to bed. Carry facial wipes with you in summers to clean excess oil on your skin. Drink plenty of water because hydrated skin has a natural radiance that cosmetics fail to give.

8. If your skin is acne prone, it is advisable that you avoid squeezing pimples and other unwanted eruptions or you will end up having a scarred and discoloured skin . If your skin reddens due to prolonged exposure to sun, you may softly rub/place ice cubes wrapped in a thin cloth to provide relief to the affected areas of the skin.

9. No matter where you are, ensure that your skin is clean at all times. Use a hanky, facial tissue or cleansing pad to dry off sweat. Use talcum powder to absorb sweat.

10. To prevent skin dullness, remove your make-up before going to sleep. Use cotton balls dipped in rose water to clean the eye make-up. Many cosmetics are produced using lead and other disastrous chemicals; leaving them overnight may result in damaged facial tissues and a dull skin tone.
