After a breast augmentation there is some swelling that is going to prevent you from seeing the true results. However, in time you will be able to see the changes and notice the difference that it makes to your figure. You are going to be pleased with the changes as will most of the people in your life. The people that you told in advance will know what to expect. However, the people at work may be a different story.

Taking Time Off

When you walk in to take some sick leave or vacation days it might be tempting to tell your boss and other coworkers what you are having done. If you feel confident letting other people in on that information, you can. You don't necessarily have to give the specific reasons for your leave. Sometimes just saying that it is a medical leave is enough.

First Days Back

Whether you have a breast augmentation or a facelift, people are going to notice the difference. For the most part, you may not be able to prevent that. Before you walk through the door you should be prepared for a reaction, both good and bad. Some people may just stare a little while others may want to come up and ask about what you had done. What you talk about and how much you talk about is completely up to you.

Think about what you want to say in advance. It can be frustrating to be caught off guard. Before you head back to work from the breast augmentation think about how you want to respond to people. You can talk about it or completely avoid it. Most importantly, whatever you choose to do, stick with it. Remember that eventually this will pass.

You Aren't Obligated To Talk About It

While you are thrilled with your new look you aren't obligated to talk to people about it. If you don't want to mention it, just ignore the comments. You can also let people know that you don't want to talk about it. Most people will respect the boundaries that you lay out.

Over Time

Eventually the new look will become the norm and it won't be such a big deal. You will be more comfortable with your breast augmentation and the way you look. As you adjust to your look you will find a new confidence about yourself. Enjoy the changes that you have made and take advantage of the way that you feel.
