Females who experience the horrible and sometimes unbearable indications of menopause are more likely to miss days at work according to a new study. Further,Canadian Pharmacy Shares the Worst Cases of Menopause Articles generic Evista can help prevent osteoporosis during post-menopausal stage.

"If you have really bad menopausal symptoms, which could be insomnia, mood swings, irritability, you may be calling into work sick," says Dr. Jennifer Wu, an obstetrician-gynecologist with Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

"What they're trying to show intuitively probably a lot of people know," says Dr. Brooke Leath, a staff physician in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Scott & White in Round Rock, Texas.

"The majority of the questionnaire items associated with adverse effects on the work scale are pretty general, and I don't believe are truly specific for menopause," said Dr. Jan Shifren, director of the Vincent Menopause

"I think the authors' true conclusion is that mid-life women who are experiencing increased anxiety and depression and somaticize a lot are more likely to have trouble at work," said Shifren, who is also on the board of the North American Menopause Society. "This is not necessarily true of all menopausal women and should be reassuring to women having hot flashes and night sweats." Also, to buy Evista in the later part of their menopause is advisable to prevent osteoporosis.

"Anxiety and depression do tend to peak at mid-life," Shifren pointed out.

"You can see that probably any depressed person, male or female, would have trouble with work ability," Leath added.

"Also, the researchers only took into account women's own perceptions of their work ability, which is not an objective measure," Shifren said.

And Leath pointed out that "only 24 percent of women contacted actually responded to the questionnaire.  The good news is that there are treatments for anxiety and depression as well as ways to alleviate symptoms of menopause."

"The antidepressant Effexor (venlafaxine), for instance, is sometimes used to help with hot flashes," Wu said.

"Hormone therapy to ease menopausal symptoms remains controversial as it can increase the risk of breast cancer, heart disease and other problems. Its use should be discussed thoroughly with a doctor," said Wu.  Related study researches are widely supported by Canadian pharmacy for a better and longer life.

Menopause is a term used to describe the permanent cessation of the primary functions of the human ovaries: the ripening and release of ova and the release of hormones that cause both the creation of the uterine lining and the subsequent shedding of the uterine lining (a.k.a. the menses or the period). Menopause typically (but not always) occurs in women in midlife, during their late 40s or early 50s, and signals the end of the fertile phase of a woman's life.

The transition from reproductive to non-reproductive is the result of a reduction in female hormonal production by the ovaries. This transition is normally not sudden or abrupt, tends to occur over a period of years, and is a natural consequence of aging. However, for some women, the accompanying signs and effects that can occur during the menopause transition years can significantly disrupt their daily activities and sense of well-being. In addition, women who have some sort of functional disorder affecting the reproductive system (e.g., endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, cancer of the reproductive organs) can go into menopause at a younger age than the normal timeframe. The functional disorders often significantly speed up the menopausal process and create more significant health problems, both physical and emotional, for the affected woman.
