After a lengthy court battle, the shooting remains a mystery, but Knights wounds are hardly up for speculation. After spending due time in the physical care unit of a hospital, he eventually made a successful recovery. Despite the controversy, Knight continues to be extremely prolific in music, specifically the hip hop and rap genres.

In the same year, Zsa Zsa Gabor fell down and broke her hip. After spending upwards of three weeks in the hospital, she also had to undergo mobility therapy. Her husband continues to look after her at their homes.

Celebrity scientist Stephen Hawking has MND, a form of cerebral palsy, and has also been placed in this form of treatment. Due to his condition, he cannot walk, talk without a machine, swallow, and often has difficulty holding his head up, though his special chair helps him achieve mobility and communication. To this day Hawking continues to be highly influential in astrophysics, string theory, and other disciplines.
