In the past I would any article on health I could find but I’m trying hard to give it up because I don’t believe it’s good for me in the long term. My friends thought I had become a health and fitness nut and I suppose I had. It’s very easy to become obsessive in an area of your life once you have been obsessive an another and that was me because after being as fat as I was and then losing the weight,Diet Ideas And Supplements To Help Prolong My Life Articles I wanted to stay that way.

I just had to keep up to date with every new exercise workout, diet ideas and supplements to help prolong my life.
That’s all changed now though because when I read an article on health now I just get angry because they keep changing their minds about what is good or bad for you. You never know what to believe a prime example was that about the benefits of soy which was heavily promoted one day then ridiculed the next for being responsible for food allergies, amongst others. Finding the best diet and exercise regime that keeps me fit and well for as long as possible is the only goal I have but it is a problem.

Every article on health that I read, however, has a different idea of what that would mean. Three great American favorites, chocolate, coffee and alcohol were up until recently, thought to be bad for your health. The experts that told us not so long ago that these things were bad for us are now saying the complete opposite, for instance red wine is good for the heart and dark chocolate can be good for stress, dark beer or Guinness is also as is coffee but all, I hasten to add in moderation. I can see that very soon these same experts will tell us to forget everything they have told us about our cholesterol levels and to start consuming cake, fast foods and ice cream again.

What I have finally figured out at such great pains is that, ultimately, my own life is my own responsibility. They have lost the right to tell me how to live but I suppose I’ll still read the odd article on health from time to time. My experience with articles on health is that they do have some worthwhile information on exercising correctly and nutritional information but as for the rest, well that will be up to me. It all comes down to this; I need to do what feels right for me, so If I can do this, I can live a healthier, happier, and longer life.
