The embarrassing and often painful disorder - Toe nail fungus

Do you have toe nail fungus which has caused you so much embarrassment that you have avoided going to the beach for a swim with your friends? Or felt so conscious about it that you always try to cover your feet so that no one will notice it? If this is the case,Does Zetaclear Work? Articles you are not alone. Millions of people suffer from this disorder.

I will discuss briefly what I have learned regarding homeopathic or natural remedies. Since being Thai, I am heavily into that kind of thing. Natural remedies sometimes take a little longer to work, but they tend to be more friendly to our bodies and don't have such drastic side effects as some prescription medications.

If you are thinking to buy any medication, homeopathic or otherwise, read this article first!

To determine if these remedies will actually work we need to investigate what toe nail fungus actually is and what can be used to fight against it. Basically, without getting too technical, fungi are microscopic organisms that don't need sunlight to survive. Some fungi have beneficial uses, while others cause illness and infection. Nail fungus is caused by fungal spores which accumulate and grown under the base of the nail.

Yeasts and molds also can be responsible for nail fungal infections. All of these microscopic organisms live in warm, moist environments, including swimming pools and showers. They can invade your skin through tiny invisible cuts or through a small separation between your nail and nail bed.

Once infection has occurred it may result in discoloration of the nails. The nails can turn a yellowish colour. In more serious cases it can actually cause the nails to splinter or crack and be quite painful.

Fortunately there are some treatments available for this embarrassing and often quite painful disorder. One which I have found to have shown positive results is Zetaclear. According to the company, Zetaclear contains tea tree oil and other ingredients which help to destroy the fungal spores and assist in the healing rocess of the damaged nails.

It has been widely known and accepted that tea tree oil is a strong antibacterial and antifungal and has been used for the treatment of various types of skin problems, including nail disorders. Since Zetaclear contains tea tree oil it will most likely have some beneficial result by using it. However, since fungi thrive in damp, moist conditions, it is important that you keep the affected area as dry as possible.

This can be done by regularly changing socks and changing which shoes you wear every other day. Use antiseptic soap when having a shower and always dry the affected area thoroughly. When at home, wear open footwear to allow the feet to breathe and dont sleep with your socks on.
