Meat, breads and other foods that are labeled as bad to anyone watching their weight are not really bad.  It’s the excess consumption that makes it bad.  Basically, in reverse psychology, the more you keep something off limits, the more your body wants it.  So don’t write those foods off your life, lessen their proportions instead.  And if you think maintaining your weight entails not eating, think again.  Your body will start saving on those nutrients you’ve packed on in order to keep it going.  Your metabolism gets slower, and if you do indulge in eating something, it will store it all.  Eat in moderation, and be on your way to being healthy and happy.
