The most used treatment for eczema is use of corticosteroid medications. However, they have their own side effects especially, when used for a prolonged time. Such medications can cause an irritation on the skin. Therefore, to decrease this itching doctors prescribe steroids to their patients. These medications consist of a cream or a lotion, which has to be, applied on the affected area. They can reduce the intensity of these breakouts. They can’t eliminate them completely but can only improve the breakout. Such medications remove the redness and itching of eczema. It is also necessary to use antifungal prescriptions with these medications so that no fungal infections happen through them. Many remedies exist in our house for treating eczema.

These treatments include that you avoid lotions containing perfumes. Also, refrain from wearing clothes that are too snug and rough. Do not indulge yourself in long baths and instead rely on short showers. You can also ensure that you do not get this disorder by using mild soap cleansers in baths. Also, dry your body thoroughly after bathing. Do not scratch yourself too much as it can exacerbate the rashes.
