We have learned that Proteases and Enzymes are not dangerous to our health and well-being,Enzymes, Can I Become Dependent Articles but rather, essential to our overall health and well-being. It’s nice to know that vegetable-based enzymes, such as those found in Bio88+ (Plus), actually thrive in our stomach and intestines and are good for us. But…

If I use supplemental oral enzymes will I become “hooked” (dependent) upon oral enzymes or enzyme supplements? And will they “shut down” my pancreas?

No. Research has shown some adaptability of the pancreas in animals; giving oral enzymes resulted in a slight decrease in pancreatic enzyme output that quickly returned to normal once supplementing with enzymes stopped. The pancreas does not stop functioning.

One of the “neat tricks” you can play upon yourself if you are feeling “acid indigestion” is to take a teaspoon of vinegar…and see what happens to your “acid indigestion”! If you get relief in a short period of time (it usually does) then you really had a lack of enzymes or enzyme activity in your stomach and not an “acid” stomach. And you probably “need” an enzyme supplement in order to return your stomach and intestines to proper balance and functioning.

Natural “greens” products are created to supplement that process, the process of breaking down food into the basic nutritional units to provide our bodies with essential nourishment. There are several different “Greens” products on the market specifically to help the digestive process. One of these supplements is Bio88+ (Plus), a pure enzyme product designed specifically to aid in digestion.

The producers of Bio88+ (Plus) use only the very finest “certified” organic, 100% vegetarian-based components in the making of their highly nutritious food product. There are no animal based products associated with Bio 88+ (Plus). Feel free to contact the author by email for additional information.

Our next article, Part IVI, will deal with proper enzyme doses and when to take them.
