Personal protective equipment (PPE KITS)

They are also the people most at risk of COVID-19, as they are in close contact with suspected/confirmed cases of COVID-19. Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) are protective gear designed to safeguard the health of workers by minimizing the exposure to such biological agents. 

Components of our PPE

The PPE kits are a complete protection gear consisting of Hazmat Suit, face shield and eyeglasses, Mask, Nitrile Gloves, Coveralls/Gowns, Headcover, and Shoe cover. 

Hazmat Suits

Hazmat suits are generally used to protect users from exposure to any possible radioactive airborne materials. Healthcare workers and the general public are trying to stock up on hazmat suits as they have the potential to provide the maximum protection against any exposure to coronavirus. 

Protective Face shield and Eyeglasses

The only known way of the spread of coronavirus is airborne - through small droplets from the nose or mouth of an infected person - and spread through the mucous membranes. This can happen in many ways (eyes, nose, mouth) if the parties are openly exposed to such particles.

Face-Shield protects contamination via mucous membranes of the eyes, nose, and mouth - a likely scenario during aerosol-generating procedures carried out in a clinical setting.

Masks

Respiratory viruses that include Coronavirus target mainly the upper and lower respiratory tracts. Hence the droplet precautions/airborne precautions using masks are crucial while dealing with a suspect or confirmed case of COVID-19 and performing aerosol-generating procedures.

1. Triple-layer medical mask: A triple layer medical mask is a disposable mask, fluid-resistant, protect the wearer from droplets of infectious material emitted during coughing/sneezing/talking.

1. N-95 Respirator mask: Our N-95 respirator mask ensures high filtration efficiency to airborne particles. To provide the requisite air seal to the wearer these masks are designed to achieve a very close facial fit. Such masks have high fluid resistance, good breathability.

Gloves

Non - powdered Nitrate gloves resist chemicals, including certain disinfectants such as chlorine. They are cost-friendly, easily disposable, and extremely safe. Nitrile gloves are grease-proof, oil-proof, water-proof, and chemical-proof. They keep the wearer safe and also protect any other surface they are touching. 

Coverall/Gowns

Our Coverall/gowns are designed to protect the torso of healthcare providers from exposure to viruses. Although coveralls typically provide 360-degree protection because they are designed to cover the whole body, including back and lower legs and sometimes head and feet as well, the design of medical/isolation gowns do not provide continuous whole-body protection (e.g., possible openings in the back, coverage to the mid-calf only). But it successfully creates a barrier to eliminate contact and droplet exposure, both known to transmit COVID-19, thus protecting healthcare workers working close (within 1 meter) of suspected/confirmed COVID-19 cases or their secretions. Our Coveralls/gowns maintain stringent standards that extend from preventing exposure to biologically contaminated solid particles to protecting from chemical hazards.

Shoe covers

Staying too safe is never too much. Our Shoe covers are made up of impermeable fabric to facilitate personal protection and decontamination. 

Headcovers

Our Coveralls usually cover the head. Those not using gowns should use a headcover that covers the head and neck while providing clinical care for patients. Hair will comfortably fit inside our head cover - providing a safe, clean, and healthy environment all around.
